Network Connect 6.3

Network Connect by Juniper Networks is a VPN client that provides secure, full network-layer access to corporate resources through Juniper’s SSL VPN gateways. It creates an encrypted tunnel over SSL/TLS, allowing users to run intranet applications, access file shares, and reach internal services as if they were on the office network, typically without special client configuration.

Key capabilities:

• Full Layer-3 tunneling with administrator-controlled split or full tunnel policies
• NAT and proxy traversal using SSL/TLS to pass through most firewalls
• Automatic installation/launch from the VPN portal, with auto-reconnect and session persistence
• Role-based access and endpoint compliance checks (when used with the gateway’s Host Checker)
• Traffic compression and logging/diagnostics to aid performance and support
• Cross-platform support (Windows, macOS, and select Linux distributions; specific versions depend on the gateway release)

Requirements:

• A compatible Juniper SSL VPN gateway (e.g., SA Series/MAG Series or Pulse Connect Secure) and appropriate licensing
• Authentication and policy configuration handled on the gateway (supports directories, certificates, and MFA via the gateway)

Note: Network Connect is a legacy component that was superseded in later releases by the Junos Pulse/Pulse Secure client. Many organizations may still encounter it in existing or long-term deployments.

Network Connect is developed by Juniper Networks. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 4.1, 6.0 and 6.3. The names of program executable files are dsNetworkConnect.exe, ncFinder.exe.
